Casa Triângulo is delighted to announce the solo exhibition of Joana Vasconcelos at the Château de Versailles, France, opening to the public on June 19, 2012.
Following the contemporary art program started in 2008, and after the American Jeff Koons, the French Xavier Veilhan and Bernar Venet, and the Japanese Takashi Murakami, Joana Vasconcelos will be the first woman and youngest contemporary artist to exhibit in Versailles.
The ambitious project proposed for the Versailles exhibition, curated by Jean-Francois Chougnet, consagrates a selection of works presented in the gardens and in the interior of the palace, bringing new works, specifically conceived for the exhibition, as well as outstanding works of the artist's career.
